Hello all, we've been trying to get data from the magnetometer using the code

it kept giving us the same error, we originally thought that it was an issue with gain or the code.
so we tested it out with mission planner, the compass test freezes and doesn't do anything, and the gyro test fails to boot.
if we try to calibrate the compass it says no data to log, this is a relatively new ardupilot, so I don't think the hardware is bad.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you referring to the 3.3V regulator circuit on the APM?

In case anyone else is having this issue, the cause was a bad voltage regulator. It was running at 1 volt which was enough to power the sensors but not enough to get readings from them. we replaced this and now are getting accurate readings.
