I managed to set up SITL of Arducopter with MAVProxy and Flightgear.
My project involves testing and extracting flight data with certain wind conditions.
I used the following to set up winds:
param set wind_spd 30
param set wind_direction 150
We then armed and took of to an altitude of 100m.
The simulation however, was subject to no change at all. It still flew just as stably and there was no change observed for any wind directions and speeds.
Am i doing something wrong?
What am i missing?
