Bizzare one this.
I have triple checked all my motor orders, prop orientations, etc. And I mean triple checked. Motor test completed the clockwise loop ok. All calibrations done - accel, compass, esc end points etc.
I can arm normally, but the moment the motors start to spin properly (7-10% throttle), the hex wants to flip over to the right. Holding the hex, I notice motor 2 just goes to max throttle the moment you "break out" of armed spinning. The rest seem to be fine. If you let it tip over, it does reduce power gradually until it's 90' over on its side, but even then it's still spinning too fast.
Normally I'd say "Props on wrong...motor order wrong...motor spinning wrong way". But no, not today. They are definitely ok.
I tried ACRO for a while, and it's still the same. When doing the ESC calibrations, all motors respond perfectly. All motors respond correct to the motor test too.
Quite simply - in normal flight, motor 2 goes to full throttle immediately, for no reason.
APM 2.72 (35x35 version), power module, gps etc.
Arducopter 3.2.1 (hex load)
PID's are factory defaults. I mucked about with them too; no effect.
The only thing I've done differently on this build is that I had to RCMAP my spektrum PPM channels?
Any suggestions?

I had a strange problem like this. In the workshop everything worked fine. Throw the throttle around etc.But in the air one ESC would just stop functioning. Back on the ground everything worked fine. Replaced the ESC and problem gone.
Just saying most of the parts we buy are not mil-spec.

Even though it spools up ok in ESC calibration mode?
Mine worked in every way on the workbench. Tied down and really throwing the throttle aroumd. Cal'ed just fine. But in the air it would intermittantly fail.
