HiL Simulation with Flightgear Connection Problem

I would like to use the HiL Simulation to test the Autopilot and I have a few questions about this stuff.

- do I need the ArduPilot Mega IMU for the HiL Simulation or can I connect only the Ardupilot Mega?
- when I connect the Ardupilot Mega (without IMU shield) I have always this problem: (Image)
  (Flightgear is running)

I have Arduino IDE 019 and the newest FlightGear Version. I downloaded the newest Ardupilot version via Sketchbook and changed the few things for Flightgear output. Compiling and Upload was successful. I followed all steps from this page http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot-mega/wiki/FlightGear

    Hi Sebastian,

i think i have identified the problem. it because of the "." character. if you have a look at the lat long, coming from flight gear you will notice the number is correct just the decimal is in the wrong place. I run xplanes and flight gear on a 64bit os, and works find. What is your default decimal character? "," perhaps.

    Your in log download mode.
Flick the big switch near your servo header on you IMU Shield. that will put it into normal mode.
