HilPlugin UDB for Xplane (windows and Mac)

Hi,

I used the UDB HILPlugin for Xplane on both Windows and Mac using the compiled binary for both operating systems. On windows everything works fine; using the same configuration of the setupHILPlugin file on Mac I can control the airplane but both the stabilized mode and the autopilot mode don't work. I think it should be some configuration problem, but I cannnot figure it out yet.

here is HILSimSetup.txt file configuration for Windows:

Comm,COM4
Overide,sim/operation/override/override_flightcontrol
Control,1,sim/joystick/FC_roll,3000,1000,1000,-1,-1
Control,2,sim/joystick/FC_ptch,3000,1000,1000,-1,-1
Control,4,sim/joystick/FC_hdng,3000,1000,1000,-1,-1
Engine,3,255,2000,2000,0,1,-1

On Mac the configuration is the same except for the com port which in my case is:

Comm,/dev/tty.usbserial-FTCVJTXK

any suggestion?! Thanks for your help.

  • Hi Alberto,

Are you using the released version from 2.5.1?  Or the current version from trunk?

Also, on the mac, I have to use a device like: Comm,/dev/cu.usbserial-A600akaB

The tty devices don't work for me.
