HMC 5883L calibration

I connected HMC 5883L via i2c, works.

Problem : It shows N correctly, rotated 90 degrees shows 150 instead of 90, then pointing on the S shows about 260, then pointed to W shows 300.

no abnormal electromagnetic around.


Did anyone had this issue ? Should I use MAP function tpo calibrate it ? Maybe other ideas ?

    Hi Arrato,

    Did you get the solution for the problem.

    As I am also using HMC5883L along with TMS320F28335 DSP kit, I have lot of problems in getting the output.

    If you are done with your solution, can you please give me your suggestions, how exactly can get the output from the HMC5883L and DSP interface.
