To the DIY Drones community...
I am 18 years old and currently studying first year Electrical Engineering. What I would like to know is how I can help in the development of Ardupilot? How do I get started, what do you recommend?
Just FYI I have been using and designing PCBs on EAGLE for a couple of years now, but I have no experience with Arduino.
Ardupilot is one of the first examples I have see where a large community of professionals and amateurs have come together to create a high tech open source product that is overtaking the sophistication of commercial products, and I would like to be a part of that.
I am currently located in France but am a native English speaker ;)
Ardupilot, I believe, will become incredibly powerful and I am currently designing a Quadcopter to experiment with it.
So I would like to know where/how I can help.
Many thanks in advance.
Jethro.

HI Jethro,
Many thanks for stepping up! We have a post on basic for contributing, but the easiest way is to help with the documentation team. We're revamping the manual and are building a team to help organize and edit it. New eyes are the best ones!
You can start by joining the Documentation User Group.
Best,
