How to clear eeprom APM ?

Hello friends, you can empty the eeprom of the APM 2.5 for Arduino?. I have a problem in my barometer of APM 2.5 and may have to do this procedure and then reinstall the FW Arducopter in Mission Planner. Grateful for the assistance. Congratulations to all.

  • if all fails try uploading arduplane firmware and then load your desired firmware right after.

  • The easiest way would be to use the planner to change "sysid_sw_mrev" to any other number, as on reboot it will reset to defaults.

    • Other way:

As seen in the screenshot above, “erase” and “reset” are the commands I used to reset the factory settings of the APM2.5+ in the CLI. These were the steps:

      • I entered “setup” which put me into Setup Mode.
      • I entered “erase” and it came back and said it was “Erasing EEPROM”.
      • After a few seconds it said “done” and stayed in setup mode.
      • I entered “reset” and it prompted me to type in “Y” to do a factory reset.
      • I entered “Y” and it told me to “Reboot APM”.
      • I clicked the disconnect icon on the toolbar and unplugged the USB cable.
      • I exited the Mission Planner software.
      • I reconnected the USB cable.
      • I restarted Mission Planner and clicked the “Connect” icon on the toolbar.

Hopefully, this gave me a clean factory reset board.
