Hi All,
I have a peculiar little problem with my 2 UAV's.
I have a lone ground radio that I can use for both machines. On the quad I use an On-the-Go cable with my Android tablet to connect and it works great.
The hex can use the same ground USB radio and connect ONLY when it is plugged into the the Mac (running Parallels). When I take that same USB ground radio and plug it into the Android's OTG cable it will not connect to the hex, yet that same unit will connect to the quad via the OTG cable.
So, there is something different about the Android OTG connection and the Mac connection - for that radio. My next plan was to use the quad's onboard telemetry radio to put on the hex on the theory that since the pair from the quad connects there then it should work on the hex.
The problem is that the plugs are different and the wiring is different. The Pixhawk has the 6 pin connector and the APM on the quad has the 5 pin connector.
Can anyone assist in helping me make a cable that will let the onboard radio work on the Pixhawk? Obviously the pins are different and when I tried to plug the 5 pin connector into the 6 pin connector it did fit OK, but nothing worked because obviously the wires are in the wrong slots on the connector.
Anyways, thanks for your help in advance!@@
Cheers,
Bill
