Just when I thought I had the Storm32 Gimbal well on it way to be in a working state all of a sudden I'm getting the "IMU Not Present" error.
It started this way:
Followed one of the many YouTube videos on calibrating the IMU. I removed the Storm32 pc board from the gimbal frame so it could be perfectly flat. I chose the 1 step calibration and clicked Ok when the blue arrow appeared.
Then re-assembled board/gimbal. But I made a mistake with MOT2 connection ( In hindsight, I really didn't need to disconnect the MOT wires.)
On reconnect to the Tool the IMU Not Available error. I have wrung out the MOT2 wiring, and checked IMU connections, including rearranging the ferrite but all to no avail. Still no joy with the IMU.
Tool connects AOK
IMU Blue light is on
2nd IMU is AOK.
All MOT off
Batt not connected.
I have attempted to reflash V.90 but get error hardware not recognized.
So, have I bricked my Storm32?
Just looking for any ideas on how to proceed. Is there a way to do a hard reset of the board?
Or should I try to delete installed firmware and reflash?
If I need to buy a new board not a big deal.
