THE ONE KEY REQUIREMENT OF THESE APPLICATIONS - GEO & DATA TAGGED IMAGES.

A leading prospective client had to create accurate 3D maps of his fields to back up agricultural insurance claims in case of a calamity. The problem was covering vast areas in a relatively short time span and acquiring synchronized RGB and NIR images on two different cameras. This was a critical requirement for the accuracy of the 3D map and the absence a serious limitation in the case of using drones for mapping.

Such a system did not exist.  But getting the Zuppa Motherboard to trigger the cameras and log data for these images was possible using the APP Expandability feature of ZUPPA.

 

 Cost – effective, easy to build

With Zuppa kLIk, an RGB and an NIR camera can log Camera Angles and simultaneously trigger GPS Lat, Long and altitude. The solution is pretty much plug and fly on standard available low cost airframes and Cannon/Sony Cameras  available with online retailers .

ZUPPA kLIk is a breakout board interfaced to ZUPPA Motherboards using ZAIP- our open APP Interface Platform.

The Design, interface codes and protocols for kLIk can be downloaded and used with the ZUPPA Motherboard to create cost effective and scalable drone based solutions locally. This will also ensure effective service support to drone service providers.

Standard off the shelf java based SOC’s like Raspberry PI , INTEL Edison etc could also be interfaced through ZAIP  for applications similar to kLIk as well as for other requirements .

ZUPPA Motherboard + kLIk can significantly reduce the costs of Mapping Solutions from the existing levels as shown below:
