Can someone tell me if you can use the Canon SX260 to film and use it as a FPV camera. I like to use it, the SX260, so I don't have to add more weight and problems to the aircraft. Any suggestions are appreciated.

There may be latency issues to consider. It is nice to have a downlink showing what the Canon sees but I am not sure it will be fast enough to use for FPV. I have not tested that camera, but some if they are recording can have a half a second delay. Which can be the difference between missing and hitting that object you are trying to maneuver around.
if its like my older IXUS you can use the video out on the USB connector.
