It was bound to happen that commercial drones are customized based on what a pilot would like to have. And why not? Modifications can resolve a few problems and ultimately take a successful idea and give it a new twist. Such as the case of this Phantom pilot who took the Phantom 3 and added elements of the Mavic into it. Obviously, if you modify a DJI product, you can void the warranty. So there is much to consider before beginning.
