I can't change to AUTO mode

I'm using APM with OilPan and ArduPlane 2.8, I have telemetry by XBee 900 and in the GCS Mission Planner 1.1.47.

When I want change the mode to Auto on fly instead change to Auto mode it change to RTL, for make this change I use the mission planner.

The other modes that I use it's manual and stabilize, this modes run perfectly but this two modes I change it by radio by a two position button.

In the setup tag of the Mission Planner, shows one flight mode whith shadow letters and I can't change, it's blocked in manual mode, it not even from the CLI. (look the picture)

    This problem continued, but now I can see that this only happens when I try to change the flight mode by xbee from computer, with the radio  I can change the mode without problem, now  I can change 4 modes auto, stabilized, RTL and manual.
    I updated arduplane to 2.30 and Mission Planner to 1.1.55.
