I have tried using visual mode and HTML Editor. I know nothing about HTML, so I tried pasting the new and old HTML code at the point in my blog post that I want it. I may be missing some code.
Thanks!
You need to be a member of diydrones to add comments!
What you are doing is correct.
Whenever I embed video into a blog or comment it appears as a yellow box as pictured in your comment. It appears fine once published though.
I reckon if you just hit publish it will come good.
I assume it is the browser you have. Just post the blog for approval, I will add the video at the point you mark " Video" and get it done. Not to worry. Is the video posted in my test is the same you want in your blog?
Also I noticed the link of you tube us secured https one which might be the trouble.
Right click in the you tube video screen, choose copy embedded code, then come to your blog and right click/paste at the point where you want to embed the video. You can also use the tool ( top third button) and paste the code in the pop up screen.

The code works for me:
just add one of these
< at the beginning of this code
iframe iframe src="//www.youtube.com/embed/3Yj-DHxKS6c?wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" height="315" width="560" _origwidth="560" _origwidth="560">
