I got my ArduCopter hardware, now what?

Hello,

I just got my ArduPilot Mega connected, the configurator shows that all the sensors works perfect and everything works fine, but now what? I move the throttle stick to high but motors dont start? where can I find info about step by step getting started?

configurator shows that it can read my receiver, I expected that when I move the throttle up motors should start running, but nothing happenes, although I have succeded run them throught the motor commands.

My transmitter has only 4 ch so aux and gps inputs are not connected, should that be the problem?

  any help?

  thanks

Zahi, there is a safety feature that disallows accidental motor startup. At 0 throttle, move your rudder stick to full right and keep it there for minimum of 2-3 seconds. After that you should see Green LED A starts to blink, that means your motors are armed and if you then give throttle they will start..

Disarmin is at throttle 0 and rudder full left 1 sec. Green LED A does not blink.

    Did you arm them?

Arm the motor output by moving the throttle stick to the lower right. Increase the throttle to 50%. (No need to apply Lipo power to the ArduCopter)
  • Hmmm... let me think...how bout the tab on the MAIN page that says arducopter, and underneath says "Arducopter Manual"....
