I have flight gear installed, I have the ArduFlight_247 code running on the arduPilot and I am using a arduIMU. I have made a mission with the Config tool download and I have downloaded the arduFGcontrol1.1 file..... But can someone give me a step by step tutorial on how to get my autopilot to fly my waypoints in flight gear???   Which do I start first, flightgear or arduFGcontrol1.1?   What settings do I need in flight gear?

  • The settings you need are in the README txt file bundled with FGControl. These can be pasted into the large text box on the final window of the flightgear launcher. ArduIMU will not work with the simulator - leave it disconnected.
    Have not used that FGControl but suspect that FlightGear is launched last once everything else is up and running.

    As for a step by step tutorial for FlightGear and ArduPilot,there is a new simulator solution in the pipeline (fresh from my T3 also-ran :P). Documentation isn't amazing but is more descriptive than that for FGControl.
