The APM IMU breaks out the 1280/2560 I2C bus for added use with the magnetometer. With the gyros, accelerometers, air pressure and magnetometer happy to run from the supplied bus and voltage lines (5v and Gnd).
Is the BEC the sole determining factor of what other things can be added to the I2C bus?
My BEC is only 3A and so with all the APM and 8 servos I'd guess I'm pretty maxed. If the ESC (where my BEC is) is the only determining factor then I require some more power for my next project.
Any ideas on good BECs or perhaps DIY versions/schematics/circuits?
