Inexplicable brownout with my APM 2.5.2

If someone actually succeeds to give me a proper solution other than "buy a new APM" (or maybe that may be the correct answer in the end), I will happily give some dollars to him as HobbyKing bonus points (I can do that right? I have heard that it's possible). I really want to just get this quad flying!

Hi everybody! I am now done building my new monster quadcopter (or maybe not a "monster", but it's the biggest I've ever built!) I just took it out to test it for the first time, and it worked, at least for about 2 seconds, then it crashed! And I just don't get what the problem is! It seems like a so called "brownout", and when I look in the log, it seems to be confirmed that the APM just reboots mid-air, as the log just stops mid-air (look at the picture below, showing altitude output from the barometer). Can it be something else than a brownout maybe?

If it actually is a brownout, than I wonder why? See the picture below showing the graph of the input voltage to the APM and you can see that, well, it's not great, but it's still within the voltage needed, as it is not under 4.6V (which is the minimum voltage right?) and the voltage does not change more than 0.15V. I power the APM with a 5V 3A HobbyWing UBEC, which is very cheap but I guess it works!

The APM is a ReadyToFlyer 2.5.2 with disabled onboard compass and ArduCopter 3.2 firmware.

What's weird is that I think that this exact problem happened me before, with this exact flight controller, which makes me think that it's the flight controller that is the problem. When I flew a previous quadcopter with this APM mounted on it, I flew for about 30 seconds and then it just stopped getting any inputs (imagine that stress, when flying inside a neighborhood). It just froze. It was in loiter mode, about 2 meters above the ground and I had no way to control it. I tried restarting my transmitter but nothing happened. After about 1 minute the motors just turned off and it crashed. The logs after that crash showed that I just did not change my input, and than the logs just ended when the motors turned off and it crashed (just like a brownout). After that, I ordered this UBEC to replace the cheap one on the cheap power module I used, and I replaced the 9x transmitter module and receiver to the FrSky system.

So now I ask for any help from anyone! If someone has any idea what may be wrong with my setup. FYI I did even have a capacitor plugged into the APM to get rid of voltage spikes.

Every reply is much appreciated!
