Hi world,
First I want say this is an invaluable source of knowledge to me, I have been inspired by this community to pick up on one of my oldest interest, flying machines. I started building balsa models when i was about 11 years old and from there on somewhere along the way I started building high composite boats? I know it doesn't add up, but somewhere along the line I abandoned airplanes for boats. After a great tour of what the high end boat world has to offer I have finally decided to move on by enrolling on an aerospace engineering masters titled Advanced Lightweight Structures and Impact from Cranfield University in the UK.
As an introduction to the aerospace world I have started building a Cermark one meter series Yak 54 that was given to me for free and I have purchased a Pixhawk 2.4.8 with all the additional components to make it work, or so I tell myself. I will create a build log and hopefully I'll find all of the info I need to complete it successfully, but if I don't I can only pray the people from this forum will help me. I am bit overwhelmed by the level and intensity of this community and I will take any advice you can provide on how to get started on this.
I am very excited to join this community and I hope I can one day be as savvy as the people that support this amazing forum
