Hello,
I was flying my IRIS and it nearly crashed last time.
The goal of the flight was to take aerial pictures of a dumpsite.
The flight procedure was the following:
- the flight starts in STB mode;
- we increase the altitude until we assume we are high enough for the pictures;
- we go to LTR mode to keep the altitude;
- we make the drone turn around himself in that mode to take pictures of all the surroundings;
- we use RTL to finish the flight.
During the RTL mode, the drone was moving jerky and it finished its landing too fast which nearly damaged the camera fixed on it.
I searched through the .bin files in Mission Planner (through Log Browser) and I found the three following errors:
- FAILSAFE_FENCE-1
- FAILSAFE_FENCE-0
- CRASH_CHECK-1
I understand the first two errors messages are linked with the geofence we set and I think that the third is linked to a GPS issue because there was a glitch in GPS HDOP just before it but I am not sure it is the only source of error.
Actually, there is a GPS Glitch just before the crash but when you look at the relative altitude, it was already lower than zero when the error message appeared.
I joined the .bin files to the email, I do not know if you need something else to understand the problem.
