I consider myself an expert. Able to troubleshoot my issues but I'm very humble in the fact that I can learn something everyday. . I have green gps lock and I can only arm in stabilize and when I switched to loiter it drifts. .. Please help.

Would I still get a green LED if my GPS SIGNAL wad poor.. btw.. Thank you for responding yourself.. you are the reason why I buy 3dr products for my company
I'll work on my logs once the rain here stopd.. Northern California has been a shower
Just took it out (630pm) and loiter worked.. I adjusted trim a bit. . Lil windy tho but better... I'll look at the logs. Thank you. Have you had any complaints with its just dropping while in stabilize? I was turning the same as I always do and I just dropped like a rock and hit pretty hard. I know you have a lot of people contacting you and for you to respond personally means a lot to me. Thank you...I work for a fire debt and if I'm trying to line up a demonstration with my company (FPV Solutions) it would be good PR if you wanted to go
I don't know what to even look for? To see if it even switched to loiter? I know the fight characteristics change when I selected loiter.. it just drifts.. could I be getting a 3d lock even thought the gps signal is poor?
So even though it's displaying a green led (which is does not aquire until after I arm in stabilize) it dose not mean that it's had a sufficient GPS lock.. that's why it drifts? I have been flying it up here in the woods
Please post your logs. Have you connected a GCS or other app? It may be that you're not actually in Loiter due to poor GPS signal, but the GCS and/or logs will confirm that.

Instructions on replaying logs are here.
Just replay the logs in Mission Planner and you'll be able to see the mode changes. Plus it's fun to watch all the date from the flights!
