Is it possible to buy only 1 3DR radio?

Hi,

I already have a pair of them.

First question is - are they paired to each other in the factory? or is it possible to pair them after they get out of the factory?

If it is possible, I dont see any reason why I should buy them In pairs, once I got the first pair I will pair the ground radio with any other radio I buy. So is it possible to purchase them as singles?

    @Assaf,

    No they are not paired at the factory. The latest installed radio firmware version is 1.6. You must use the MP to set up the radio operating parameters before you can use them. One of the parameters is the Net Id that must be the same for the ground and aircraft radios. I have several of the ground radios, but five of the aircraft radios each with the same Net Id so they can communicate with each other. You can buy additional ground and aircraft radios without having to buy the pair.

    Aircraft radio:It is not in the 3DR store anymore. It could be that it is out of stock or a new radio will become available shortly.
