is it possible to program a varible waypoint?

I varible waypoint could prove usefull for missions suchs as auto landing, and payload drops.

If you could program a waypoint that varies by the wind heading, then by always flying into the wind to land or drop a paypoad you can optomise these fetures?

Sure...it's pretty easy. Look at the Events tab in your code and you'll see how other such events are set up.
