Is Raspberry PI + charger = data logger possible?

I want to know from the experts out there would it be possible to create a WiFi data logger using Raspberry Pi (or other inexpensive embedded computer) to monitor and record charging information from an inexpensive battery charger like the X120 from Hobbyking?

I would love to automate my charging logbook. Also having the ability for my charger to alert me it is finished charging since they are in the garage. Right now I do it all manually and it takes a lot of time to capture all the info. I'm sure I'm not alone in this wish and maybe I'm just not aware of an already available solution.
