Joystick

I thought I would have a play with the Joystick feature in the APM planner to see how well it works.

I managed to get an XBox wireless PC controller hooked up to my PC via USB and recognised as a Joystick.

I can allocate functions in the planner, but it seems that the feature directly controls the servos rather than being filtered through whatever elevon mode the APM is set to.


I have a delta wing set to elevon mode and when controlling via the joystick, the roll contol only affects one aileron.

 

throttle etc all seem to work well, its only the elevon mixing that doesn't work properly.

this might also be an issue with the new differential elevon mixing and as more mixing options are added down the track.
