kit with APM 2.6

Up for sale is a great starter kit for an APM based quad.

I bought all this a little over a year ago, but I never actually finished this quad. I built a wooded frame and attached the motors and all, but all I ever did with this kit was bench tests. I went as far as actually flying the quad one foot above the ground in my basement, so I can assure you that it all works great, but I didn't have time to go out and continue to fine tune it. I have two young kids and I don't have the required time to go out in the field for hours to fiddle with all this stuff anymore. I'm now at a point in my life where I need more RTF stuff, and unfortunately, an APM based quad is not exactly RTF!

But if you know your way around this stuff and are ready to invest some time in it, this kit can become a really great quad. The APM controller is still one of the most customizable controller around and it can do almost anything you want it to!

So, basically, all of this stuff is brand new. It has been lying on the shelf for a while, but in the last couple of days, I tested everything and it's still all operational, it just needs some love!

I bought all of this directly from 3DR, so this is no cheap clones.

So, here is what's included:


-APM 2.6 controller (now flashed with the latest ArduCopter FW, but you may want to reflash it to start clean) (170$ new)
-APM 3DR power module (to power apm from lipo)
-3DR uBlox GPS with Compass Kit (LEA-6H) (90$ new)
-5x 3DR AC2830-358 850Kv motors (so you have one extra, still in box) (5x18$=90$ new)
-4x 3DR 20amp ESC flashed with SimonK firmware(4x26$=104$ new)
-4x 3DR 20amp ESC not SimonK (if you know how and have required tools, you could even flash those to SimonK)
-3 sets of propellers 10 x 4.7 (12 props) (3x8$=24$ new)
-3DR radio telemetry kit (915Mhz US) /w whip antennas (tx for quad and usb rx) (100$ new)
-Telemetry/OSD Y-cable adapter cable for APM (if you want to add an OSD module, like MinimOSD)
