Not sure where to best post this so feel free to relocate to appropriate thread if necessary ...

Hi all - Here's what I'm trying to do and would appreciate any comments or insights that might be helpful in accomplishing this.

I want to be able to launch my plane with a preconfigured route and return to point of takeoff.  I know this is possible with ardupilot - here are some of the features I need input on though.

features:

OSD - that shows current gps position (+ regular normal display data)

FPV - not sure what an affordable solutions would be considering i would like to have a 5 mile range preferably ... 1.3ghz? 1000mW linear antennae?

manual control via - cellular shield by connecting to cellular IP address over data connection from laptop.   Not sure if the arduino cellular shield is compatible with ardupilot or if ardupilot allows for manual control when needed during set mission.

Ideally i would like to be able to run up to a 5 mile fpv mission that has previously been loaded into the plane, however if need be i would like to be able to take control of the plane - or even just manually run a fpv mission from the laptop by connecting to the cellular shield via it's ip address.

sorry if this doesn't make as much sense as i intended it to, not sure specifically what i need so not sure how to put it.

Thanks in advance.
