Laptop/Camera Lipo's

Has anyone used laptop or camera lipo's in their platform? It appears like some of them are cheaper than RC lipo's of the same voltage and miliamp.

I have used these types of canned Lion batteries, recycled from a laptop, on a slow stick. They were too heavy & poor current output,, but great for transmitter packs ... about 1500mah and only 7 amp max output

I find that hard to believe in most cases however voltage and miliamps are not your primary concern when picking batteries typically. It is max discharge rate. RC lipos have always been the cutting edge of discharge rates. Anything less than 15C or 15*capacity = discharge rate.....is less than preferred. I honestly shy away from 25C now that there are 30C fairly cheap.
