Might anyone be working on automating this or has anyone done it manually?

The idea is to be able to plan a mission that flies along the centerline (more or less) of a canyon, while keeping the camera pointed at the wall of the canyon.

I can do it by entering a series of waypoints and then changing some of those to become RoI pints, but I was jsut wondering if there was a better way?
