I've got a skywalker 1830 on APM that i'm getting 45min-1hr of flight time on. So far I've been unable to get a log for a complete flight. The log always cuts off the beginning of the flight. I believe I have the bitmask set to the lowest logging parameters. Basically just GPS and mode changes. I'm assuming that on these longer flights the internal memory on the APM unit runs out and the log starts to over write the first part of the flight? Is there any fix for this? Possibly an external sd card logger or something?

The fix is to buy a pixhawk or a pixhawk clone which has an SDCard. This is just one of many reasons not to be using APM any more.
