Long range Controls?

Apologies if this is the wrong section but it does involve antennas, kinda.

I am buying a long range AV transmitter and controller which will work with the monitor I have, but I need to be able to control this at such long ranges,

What controller can I use to get control of 10KM range? is it a matter of buying a bog standard 2.4GHz controller on hobbyking and added a larger antenna?

Or does this need to be controlled over Wifi?

I'm not 100% on controls, infact I'm not anywhere near 10%!

    Hello

    Forget about 2.4G control!

    Look into LRS systems: OpenLRSng, Dragonlink, new TBS Crossfire looks interesting etc.
