I'm looking for someone to help me build a display model and prototype for a security system involving drones and laser sensors.
I was lucky enough to have my project picked up by an investment firm backed by the Chinese government who's hell bent on developing the sleepy little island of Hainan which is about to be the worlds biggest free trade zone. I guess I'm just in the right place at the right time with the right idea.
My knowledge of coding and technology is limited (as in none) but I have spent my whole life thinking of a way to keep my family safe on their farm in South Africa and have come up with a pretty good plan. The investment company seems to think its a sound business model and I'm quite excited about turning it into a reality. Besides having the potential to make a bucket load of money it could save a lot of people their lives and a hell of a lot of trauma. Farm attacks are pretty brutal in South Africa.
Anyway, I would require someone with a proficiency in C++ coding with some knowledge of drones and the like.
The tech is very simple but with any project I'm sure the simplest thing will make the most headaches.
Your role would be to help me develop a display model using the Crazyflie drone with Arduino and some break beam sensors. From there we should have some serious funding and be able to buy some nice toys to make a full scale model, I'm thinking some proper 3D printers and what ever the engineers desire.
The project will be based here in Haikou and I don't expect to have any real rights on the patents in reality I don't think we can keep the tech for ourselves but I strongly believe if we get in first we have a strong position market wise. Also phase one is this system, there are four phases behind that that end in full on aviation development which should be really fun and line our pockets regardless of what happens to the patents in phase one.

Part of the drive to develop the island is to bring in foreign talent with a strong focus on technological development so if you're young and single I think this is quite a nice opportunity but it can be done via correspondence for the time being. I wouldn't say China is the most awesome place on earth but Haikou isn't too bad, blue skies, beaches etc. Chinese government has a tendency to over pay foreign talent but this wouldn't just be a salary opportunity for you. The right person could come right on board as a share holder. I'm not a stingy guy and I believe strongly in good team work.
