Hello,
First of all thank you, this is a great website and will help me loads :)
I am an embedded software engineer and i have some research based knowledge on a basic level autopiolot system based for a simple rc aircraft.
This autopilot used bta a copilot and i have programmed a pic microcontroller to make it fly on fixed path using a garmin gps rs232 output. The turning was on ailerons. I want to start it all over again to make a small electric aircraft for making videos and photography again.
I wanted to go the same way but personally i dont like bta autopilot becuase it is a third party thing and eventually i want to make all my package through my own. Can i use FMA copilot or Attopilot2.0 or there is any other suggestions.
I will keep on posting my work and experience here with photos and with source code in C language using PIC micro.
Best regards
Dani
