Looking for low latency HD IP based cameras, prefer ethernet connection

I'm looking for low latency 1080p cameras that stream, and can be used with VLC but with a physical ethernet connection (and small enough to be carried on remote vehicles)

Finding cameras is easy enough with google searches, finding cameras with low latency, that's another issue....

I am interested in the same subject. I have played with some of the bulkier security cameras like the FOSCAM FI9821W HD Wireless Indoor IP Camera. This camera is good for transmission/distance testing, but is bulky for a remote vehicle, especially if you are talking about an aerial unit.

Anyways, I was wondering if you have had any luck since you posted this?
