Looking for my First Drone for Scientific Experiment

Hi guys. I'm an undergrad student working with researchers at my school.  My next task is to find them a drone to use in their experiments.  They already have a drone, not sure what the model is, but are looking to upgrade to something that will perform better than what they are currently working with.  Here is a list of some of the specifics that our drone will need.  Any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated, even if its just directing my to a specific forum category!

-As close to RTF as possible. However, even though I am new at this, my boss and colleagues aren't, so we don't need to be super consumer-friendly like the X8.

-Ideal flight time of 30 minutes. The experiment requires a full hour of flight, so the longer flight time, the better.  Currently they only get about 15 minutes.

-Although we won't be mounting a camera to the bottom of our drone, we require about the same specs as a gimbal camera. That is, 180 by 90 degrees FoV and landing supports that are at least 40cm tall.

-Agility is not a major concern. What is more important is stability, specifically cm flight precision. We'd also like prop failures, geofencing, strong link quality, parachutes.

-The autopilot they are currently using is the Arducopter 3.3 on a pixhawk.  Keeping this the same would be best.

Basically, this drone will be flying to designated waypoints while holding its yaw fixed and trying to stay as stable as possible. It will have a device mounted at the bottom (we aren't sure what exactly we want to mount yet, sorry for the vagueness).  Feel free to send any suggestions regardless of price, I'll filter through that part as we fit all the pieces together. Thank you for your help!
