I have had very good performance out of my APM 1, I have been flying in stable mode for a short while now and have good control and confidence in my quad. I flew today and got up to 150 to 200 feet, when descending at about 75 feet I lost complete pitch and roll authority. My quad went right into the ground bending my motor and breaking the landing gear. I though the LVA must have been incorrect and took a reading on my 3s1p lipo (3 amp) and it read 11.5 volts. I understand that is not with load, but my timer was also on and I was only 6 minutes into flight ( I always get 10 minutes at 1/4-1/2 throttle). I am very concerned about this as others have noted erratic behavior from this shield/board. My 2022 kda's each pull 12 amps at half throttle (clamp meter). My lipo's and esc's get warm but never hot, I fly at 1/4 to half throttle at most. I live in a rural area and rf interference is not likely. I am running the latest MP and software. This really scares me and makes me skeptical about this project using the APM. I have read numerous reports of erratic behavior by the APM and thought it was user error. I am by no means a rocket scientist but am not an idiot. I have experienced great stable flight until now at the same altitudes and conditions. I am hoping the 200 hundred dollars I saved by not buying a Hover Fly Pro board was worth it. I am also hoping that there is some error on my part that would account for this. I request assistance with this issue as I have purchased product from DIYDrones.com
Thank you

Have you added anything to the board or made any changes?
Was it just the pitch and roll that you lost control of?
