Low cost laptop for Mission Planner

Looks like I will end up getting a laptop for mission planner. As MP is all I need it for, I can't see investing a lot of money to run it. What is a reasonable minimum platform to run MP

If you want something cool and durable, get a used Toughbook on eBay. Screen can be seen in bright sun, has GPS, media card reader, wiFi, etc. and battery lasts a really long time. It's a little overkill but once you have one you will wonder how you did without it.

I don't think MP requires a lot of resources.

I've been running MP an an acer aspire One 522, a 1Gb, 10" netbook that has a 1280x720 screen resolution. The screen resolution was my main reason for buing it. It has about 5 hrs. battery time. The slow disk means MP takes some time to start up, but after that MP runs fine.
