Mac native or with Fusion?

I've been using a mac with fusion to run arduino, configurator with the arducopter ng code.

 

Now I'm getting into a skywalker and will use the beta 2.0 code. I see there are two different ground stations. Which is the best way to go? Mac with Fusion or Mac using the mac ground station?

    Doing this with Fusion and Windows XP until I can figure out the mac installation.

     

    I downloading the APM mission planner from here http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot-mega/downloads/list but can't open ArdupilotMegaPlanner'

     

    I get an error saying "To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v2.0.50727 and when I press YES it takes me to a page that downloads .NET Framework version 4. 

     

    Then when I'm done with that I try to open ArdupilotMegaPlanner and I get the same error.

     

    I'm more familiar with the mac so probably I'm doing something stupid on the PC :)

    Any mac users out there flying with 2.0? I prefer to use my mac but don't want to if the pc version is further along or better in some important way :)
