Madgwick filter

Hello,

I'm developing a project using an IMU 9 axis. My goal is to have accurate values of angles in order to determine wether my object is mooving symetricly or not. I was wondering if i should use only madgwick's filter or should i add other  sensors measurments. I have gps, accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope measurments.
