I can confirm, that the problem described in this thread

still exists in 1.3.4 - I wasn't able to perform compass calibration.
I tried several times, the sphere on the calibration aid looked full yet MP reported that log doesn't contain enough data.
I tried to perform the 'log calibration' as well and it gave me offsets in range between 1600 and 2000.

I just got successful calibration in the APM Planner 2.0.0 RC3, so I can confirm that it's definately a problem in the 1.3.4
