Do quite a bit of flying in wilderness areas where there is no wifi or cell service. I am wondering if there is a way to download a google map in advance of the trip so that I would have a pre-loaded map for the area

    In Mission Planner, right click on the map on the Flight Planner tab and select Prefetch Maps. Details are in the wiki.
