My adviser specializes in MEMS research (microscopic electronics) and I am making this post to see if anyone has any ideas for a masters thesis. To put simply, what on a UAV needs to be smaller (microscopic)? (sensors, actuators, navigation circuitry, etc). No ideas are dumb ideas. Thank you all.Roy

I suggest you focus your search on MAV's (Micro Air Vehicles). A good start would be researching the size and weight of the existing micro electronics being utilized in these applications.
