  • I have done 550m+ (+1800 feet) with my Hexa several times,

using switch between GPS hold/Free mode, and manual control when descending..

Its more demanding to fly inside in thick fog(need to rely 100% on GPS pos hold and OSD A. horizon,

on top of the fog where the sun it is easy to fly again.
(Did fly in thick fog in a non populated area in 50m height, don't do it other places!)

    274m (900ft) - http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/arducopter-in-the-kalahari

The quad was not really visible to the naked eye at this altitude

  • about 500' here:

  • I forget how high I got here, but it might have been 150m.  I know I have gone a little "soon high" on a few flights, just can't remember if this is it.  I was flying FPV here in Stabilize mode, and I tend to err on the side of altitude when flying FPV still.

  • Fly about 300m :)

I did this flight yesterday. It's 95m up in circle mode. I did an auto-landing and it took a minute and a half to come down!

Working on a new patch to do a much better descent from high altitudes.
