I have been trying to search and unsuccessfully find any information about what maximum speed can the PX4 autopilot operate before it becomes unstable.
My intentions are to use it to provide full autopilot control on a Rifle 1M EP Sport ARF however this platform operates in excess of 100mph. I want to find out if anyone has an experience using an autopilot system or point me to a good place to find information on this

100mph shouldn't be a problem with good tuning. I've flown APM:Plane on faster platforms than that.
ok sounds good so next question would be before i go setting this up should i start small cheap store bought quadcopter and get the autopilot working on something like that prior to diving head first into a 100mph one... really just kind of getting into this and not sure where should start without spending at a disposable rate.
