MEDIATEK GPS - bad CLI test

Hello Everybody!

I have ArdupilotMega, soldered it a few days ago and connected to PC via usb to test. Most part of the tests via CLI works good, however I've got a problem with gps test.

So, I go the CLI, then type: test - > gps and get something like this:

and this dots appear and appear in the straight line...

Could you tell me, what's the reason of this problem is?

    I've just upload a new firmwire in the APM with new line, in which I set MTK16.

    GPS test in CLI is correct.

    Zach, signal is ok, the light comes on.

     

    Martin, now I use GPS_PROTOCOL_MTK in my config.h

    I was not sure about the version of my gps firmwire, so I decided not to add 16. However, maybe the problem is in it.

    I think, the version should be the latest, as I purchased my APM only a week ago.

     

    I will test in the evening, and than write here about the results :)

    no signal, check the plug and check if the light comes on the gps.
