Micro-USB to video transmitter connector

For a university project, I have been given a Canon A1300 to use in a RC plane that should map/take live video of the ground below. I am struggling to find how to connect the Canon A1300 to the video transmitter. Does anyone know how this is done?

I've found a micro-usb to video transmitter connector but it is advertised for GoPro's only, not general use. Does anyone know whether this would be ok to use with a Canon A1300?

I am planning on sending the video back to the same laptop that has the ground station on it (I'm going to be using ArduPlane Mission Planner) and hopefully sync the video with Mission Planner. Is this at all possible?

Any information on this subject would be much appreciated as I am a beginner to all of this.
