minimOSD firmware/bootloader issue

I've got minimOSD without firmware inside. couldn't connect with configuration software. Looked over the net and found about Arduino bootloader is used. So Arduino software flashed it with AVR USBASP and then Configuration software able to upload minimOSD firmware as it should. Then after that I got same error: can't talk to bootloader. I think there is a conflict with bootloader, firmware overwrites the bootloader. Can't connect after firmware is flashed.

Any ideas? What bootloader should I use and what are the fuses for Atmega 328P?

I don't want to ship it back, because I bought it few months ago and didn't have time to test it..

    I'm having the same problem. I am only using 4 wires, but my FTDI has 6. What are the last two wires for? I see a DTR on both units, and a CTS on the FTDI. The MinimOSD has two GNDs?
