Mission planner 1.2.51 problems? [SOLVED]

HI all,

Wonder if anyone else is getting this changed behaviour. Both my quads (both APM2.5+) now do this.

- Realtime Altitude in Flight data is now absolute, not relative, even after arming/powering up. Fo me this is 730m.

- Altitude now seems to drift considerably. Up to 12m. Both quads are on my kitchen table as normal powered from USB.

- In flight planner, Home long. and lat. are correct, but alt (abs) is 0.  It should be 730m, if I've got it powered off USB on my kitchen table?

- it also thinks my 3S is only 4.6 bolts, when it's powered off the power module. My dx8 think the Rx is still getting 4.9v. However, I need to verify this with my other quad though.

Kinda scared to fly thing while it thinks home as at sea level, when it's actually 730m...

    please update to 1.2.52

  • This only seems to have happened when I upgraded to x.x.51.
  • Thanks mike - that's one thing at least.

I still have absolute altitude now though in flight data screen (730m)...and the green bar for home alt is way off the bottom. Ie at zero. The alt used to be relative zero (sitting on table alt = 0), with the green bar also exactly centred (ie at relative zero).

I'm worried that with all my alts being set to abs, any land/Rtl/auto flight will involve plummeting into the ground!

arducopter has always set home as 0. for the past multiple versions.
