Mission planner 3.19 pitches down once armed

Once converting to  mission planner 3.19 my quadrotor thinks it is pitching violently downward once armed.  I have the quad sitting on a table.  It works great when using a controller but once armed in auto mode it instantly begins to think it is pitching downward till it "crashes" upside down.  Any help would be appreciated.

This is happens with two different boards, one is an arducopter 2.6 and the other is an arducopter 2.8.  This occurs with direct connection of a usb cable or through telemetry.  APM 2.0 does not have the same problem when armed directly with the usb cable.  APM 2.0 does not like my telemetry module though and will not connect.  I think it might be a knock off telemetry unit for that reason.

Thank you for your time.

Michael

  • Just found an old copy of mission planner version 3.10 and it works perfectly.  Not sure why 3.19 is not working for me but I am happy to have a working version.  I want to show its auto flight capablities to my professor since I allowed the update to 3.19 I had not been able to figure out why it thought it was pitching when sitting on the table.
